Anthem 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard is a Cabernet with heritage. Napa Valley Andy Beckstoffer’s Las Piedras Vineyard is one of his six heritage vineyards in the Napa Valley, planted to vine for over 150 years. This 22 acre vineyard produces only Cabernet Sauvignon and is located in West Saint Helena at the base of the Mayacamas Mountains. The vineyard takes its name from the gravelly river washed soil, Las Piedras translates to “little pebbles”, in Spanish. The 2015 vintage Beckstoffer Las Piedras Cabernet Sauvignon is the sixth vintage produced, with only 165 cases in total. The 2015 vintage produced exceptionally high quality fruit, with very low yields, resulting in a plush and powerful Cabernet. “This is ripe and flashy, with a range of boysenberry, blackberry and raspberry flavors streaming through, enhanced by polished structure and backed by ganache and sweet tobacco detail through the finish.
