Camigliano Brunello di Montalcino 2015

Home > Country > Country - Italy > Camigliano Brunello di Montalcino 2015

The grapes are cultivated on selected terrain after careful clonal experimentation in order to produce the Camigliano Brunello di Montalcino 2015 with unparalleled elegance. Great wine with intense aromas and balanced tannins that is able to express all the characteristics of the “terroir” in quality and typicality in the selection of clones in addition to the choice of the sunniest terrain with the best location. A classy wine that promises an interesting evolution that will extend over time.  A wealth of fruit yet remains fresh and vivid with blueberry and black cherry character. Some bark and dried earth. Full body, integrated tannins and a flavorful finish. The elegance and harmonic body of the wine permit its combination with many complex and complicated dishes such as red meat, feathered and furry game also accompanied by mushrooms or truffles.
The Camigliano Brunello di Montalcino 2015, in addition, is excellent with cheeses: aged tomes, parmesan, Tuscan pecorino. It also makes an excellent combination with meat dishes of international cuisine or with complicated sauces. Because of its characteristics, Brunello is also a pleasant meditation wine. 94 Points – James Suckling.

The Owen Roe Abbot’s Table 2017 honors the most fundamental form of hospitality through the ages -the meal. This wine, with its unique varietal diversity, is rich in red fruit notes, with balanced flavors and acidity, exuding charm and texture. It pairs beautifully with many flavors and feasts. • Mutt Lynch 2017 HellHound

Hellhound…a supernatural dog, mythical in nature, jet black and red with piercing yellow eyes, the guardian of the gates of hell. Legend has it that seeing a hellhound or hearing its howl is ominous. Stare into its eyes three times and death awaits. Just think of what will happen when you drink a glass of Mutt Lynch HellHound. Dark and violent, it is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in Bourbon barrels. Certainly not for the faint of heart. This noble beast opens to aromas of toasty oak and blackberries. On the palate you’ll find notes of blackberries, cherries, tobacco and leather. The 2017 HellHound is full-bodied, with silky tannins and a nice finish. Available now for a great taste but will also age well. We’re at the mercy of this beauty of a beast. It’s big, bold and very tempting. Who’s afraid of the big bad wolf? The obvious pairing is something from the grill–steak or even a great burger. But…a great pasta with sausage also comes to mind.

You don’t know what it wants and you’ve underestimated its character. But you can feel it watching your every move. A cunning presence lingers, like a thorn in your side. It isn’t going anywhere.

While working with their growers in Napa Valley, The Prisoner team came across small, premium vineyard lots of Merlot, which served as their inspiration to create Thorn 2017. The Merlot was blended with Syrah to create depth in the body while Malbec accentuates the fruit. Earthy aromas open up into cocoa, mocha, espresso, and dark cherry aromas.
Full with medium tannins and a juicy finish.. The entry is smooth with flavors of cherry, chocolate, vanilla, and a mild toastiness. The finish is long with balanced acidity. 80% Merlot; 20% Blend of Petite Sirah, Malbec and Syrah.
