Collier Falls Cabernet Sauvignon 2013, Dry Creek Valley
The Collier Falls Cabernet Sauvignon 2013, Dry Creek Valley is deep, dark red in color with aromas of blackberry, cinnamon and clove. This elegant, balanced and spice driven Cabernet has a very approachable palate with distinct notes of red currant and vanilla. We recommend 20-30 minutes of decanting to fully showcase its soft flavors and lingering finish of red fruit. Only 323 cases made.
Here is Robert Parker’s 90 Point Review – “Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Estate has an expressive nose of crème de cassis, blueberry pie and preserved plums with hints of incense, cinnamon stick, cloves and new leather. Medium to full-bodied,it has a solid frame of chewy tannins and refreshing acidity supporting the muscular fruit, finishing long and spicy.”
