Collier Falls Cabernet Sauvignon 2014, Dry Creek Valley
The wine is deep, dark red in color with aromas of black cherry, tobacco, and cedar box. This is a rich and complex hillside Cabernet with notes of earth, blackberry, and Christmas spice along with velvety tannins and a soft vanilla finish. We recommend 20-30 minutes of decanting to fully showcase its soft flavors and lingering finish of dark fruit.

Sineann Cabernet Sauvignon Baby Poux 2014$47.00Add to cart
Sineann Cabernet Sauvignon Baby Poux 2014 isn't really a baby anymore. Named back in 1998, it was made from a newer section of the famed Champoux Vineyard. Nearly two decades later, the baby's all grown up. The vines aren't babies anymore, but the name remains. Intense aromas of creamy black cherry, bittersweet chocolate, and a hint of dried herbs. Super dense in the mouth, with flavors echoing the aroma. Cassis and mineral notes emerge with time. Delicious Champoux fruit! The Baby Poux block of Paul Champoux's vineyard combines great Cab intensity with a remarkable approachability that Cabernet just doesn't often deliver. Sineann has used fruit from Baby Poux since it's first year of production and it has always had that approachable quality. Much to our delight, as the vineyard ages (it is now 18 years old) it is growing in depth and complexity. Where will it all lead to? We don't know, but it's fun going along for the ride and it's fun saying Baby Poux!! (This picture is of the 2009 vintage – 2014 pics are hard to find!)

Schug Cabernet Sauvignon 2015, Sonoma Valley California USA$34.00Add to cart
Supple and generous, the 2013 Schug Cabernet Sauvignon, Sonoma Valley is a solidly built Cabernet blended in the classic Bordeaux style that Walter Schug pioneered in California while winemaster of Joseph Phelps Vineyards. A ripe mouthful of currant and cherry flavors is framed by fine tannins and a touch of spicy oak. It has a classic bouquet bursting with berries, cassis and spice. A generous portion of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec are blended in to add charm and grace, further enhancing the bright berry flavors and lively acidity. Try this wine with hearty stews, wild mushrooms and grilled meats. Though ready to enjoy now, this wine will develop gracefully with 5 to 7 years of additional cellaring.
