Jayson by Pahlmeyer Pinot Noir 2018
The Jayson 2018 Pinot Noir is rich with a juicy texture. Aromas of root beer and candied marasca cherries lead to subtle notes of cinnamon, vanilla bean and custard. The mouthfeel is concentrated and expansive mid-palate. A youthful acidity brightens the palate, then finishes velvety smooth. This is a fruit-driven, hedonistic, approachable Pinot Noir.

Pali Huntington Pinot Noir 2017, Santa Barbara$29.00
Named after owners’, Tim Perr and Scott Knight, coastal hometown of Pacific Palisades (Pali for short), located on the west side of Los Angeles, the wine bears the name of a Pacific Palisades neighborhood – Huntington.
Brilliant deep red/garnet color. Nose shows fresh cherries, strawberry, baking spices, toasted oak and hints of bacon fat. The palate gives up dark red fruit flavors, earthy mushrooms and loads of spices finishing with warm notes of vanilla and coffee. Silky texture on a medium-weighted palate with perfumed flavors that permeate up to the nose. Lively, visceral and brooding.
“This bottling is one of the most reliably delicious Pinot Noirs for less than $30 each vintage, and this year is one of the best. Warm, even buttery aromas of brioche, strawberry jam and baking spice prove immensely inviting, leading into an approachable yet complex palate where fruit-punch flavors are lifted by clove, tart plum skins and vanilla on the finish.” Editor’s Choice – 92 Points – Wine Enthusiast

This is the 24th release of the St. Gregory Mendocino Pinot Noir 2016, Mendocino County’s cool climate produces a very elegant and rich style of Pinot Noir with balanced acidity, dark color, full tannins and very fruity flavors. Their style is much more French Burgundy than California. This wine is dark purple garnet in color and Burgundian in style; with rich, full and attractive aromas/flavors of ripe black cherries, plum, toasty oak and hints of earth. Soft tannins, balanced acidity and a rich, velvety mouth-feel produce a luscious wine that is enjoyable now and will develop more complexity with additional aging in the bottle.
