McNab Ridge Reserve Zinfandel 2019, Chase Vineyard
The Chase Family has been growing grapes in the Mendocino AVA of Redwood Valley since 1947, becoming CCOF organic certified in 2005. Recognizing the exceptional quality of the fruit, my family began working with the Chase family nearly five decades ago and selected this vineyard to make McNab Ridge’s inaugural Zinfandel in 2002. In honor of the Chase’s exemplary stewardship, they have produced this Zinfandel without the use of any added sulfites, further preserving the terroir that is the Chase Vineyard.

Capo Creek Ranch Old Vine Zinfandel 2020
$64.00I am always impressed by what people did before the wine world. Here’s two sisters – Mary and Nadine Roy who owned and operated a radiology business in Illinois and now have been running Capo Creek Ranch for the last 4 years. Mary Roy is the mother of six and previous owner/lead physician of Midwest Center for Advanced Imaging, specializing in MRI and Women’s Imaging. Nadine Roy was a co-owner and executive director of that business and has now been certified as a sommelier and works alongside her sister, the winemaker.
This estate old vine zinfandel from Dry Creek Valley is full of juicy fruit flavors dominated by dark cherry, black raspberry & pomegranate. Red licorice and a touch of spice from choice oak barrels balance it nicely and adds a complexity that makes every sip a delight. 350 cases produced.

Storrs Rusty Ridge Zinfandel 2016, Santa Clara County, CA
$37.00The Storrs Rusty Ridge Zinfandel 2016 hails from a series of old vine vineyards located on the eastern edge of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Head-trained and dry-farmed all, these vineyards yield very minimally allowing for intensely flavored fruit that produce wines of amazing concentration and varietal identity. Each vineyard which comes to the blend, adds something… one brambly fruit, the other backbone and spice, the other depth and concentration. Together these vineyards create a wine that will remind all of us why winemakers engage the four-wheel drive, and then hike through the worst poison oak to uncover these gems that have nearly been forgotten to the outside world. Big, Rich & Bold!!! Filled with abundant aromas of raspberry, ripe plum, a touch of spice and violets on the finish. Created from the fruit of old-vine vineyards – this wine will age gracefully for several more years.

August Briggs Old Vine Zinfandel 2019
$37.00Now in their 25th bottling of ‘Old Vines’ Zinfandel they realize this wine is not only about an enjoyment of the senses but also a tribute to the magical old vines located around them in California. The 2019 Old Vines Zinfandel is sourced from two incredible old vine vineyards. The main source comes from old friends, the Luvisi family, whose grapes were planted in 1908 and has been the building block of our Old Vine Zinfandel since the beginning. The second vineyard is the historic Del Barba vineyard located in the delta town of Oakley and has own-rooted, dry farmed Zin grapes that were planted in 1910. This 2019 vintage wine displays the classic aromas of old vine zinfandel. It is very aromatic with notes of ripe boysenberries, blackberry pie, licorice, cinnamon, and sweet spices. On the palate, it is flashy and expressive with flavors of wild berries, currant, and mocha. This multi-dimensional, complex Zin exhibits unparalleled flavor concentration and character. Each vineyard block was harvested and fermented separately.250 cases
