The Decoy Rosé 2021 was inspired by the great Rosés of Provence. Unlike many Rosés, which are made as a byproduct of bleeding off juice from red wine fermentations, the grapes for this wine were specifically harvested at lower Brix to make a dry Rosé. To further preserve the wine’s beautiful aromatics, pure fruit flavors and crisp refreshing mouthfeel, it was fermented entirely in stainless steel. This crisp and elegant Rosé displays enticing aromas of fresh-picked strawberries and honeydew melon, along with hints of orange blossom and guava. On the palate, it is bright and balanced, with layers of vibrant fruit and subtle notes of minerals and spice.

  • JNSQ Rose 2020

    $43.00

The finest Roses delight, refresh and entertain, offering nothing less than complete joy in a glass whether you are drinking it on its own, or with food.  The JNSQ Rose Cru gives all this an more. It’s a fine wine sourced from carefully selected blocks in some of the finest regions along California’s cool Central Coast. The fruit from each vineyard block is made separately to bring out the absolute best qualities that each site has to offer. Grenache, Pinot Gris, Syrah and Viognier from these blocks are then combined to display a delicate complexity and balance to give something special, je ne sais quoi that is difficult to describe, but immediately recognizable on the first sip.

JNSQ Rosé Cru 2018 is summer in a glass, no matter what the calendar says. Not too sweet, but never bitter, this grenache-forward Rosé is clean and aromatic with a touch of strawberry and hints of Bing cherry. The dynamic flavors are accented with savory herbal and white floral notes that make it crisp and elegant, perfect for sipping by the pool, serving at a barbecue, or toasting over a candlelit dinner.

This wine is balanced, refreshing, and versatile. The graceful texture and clean finish make our Rosé Cru delightful all on its own, but it plays well with a range of foods. The fruit flavors complement light bites, like arugula and goat cheese salad, or fresh bruschetta, while the balanced texture holds its own with savory dishes like roasted branzino or even a prosciutto pizza.

  • Andrew Murray Esperance Rose 2020

    $24.00

Andrew Murray Vineyards estate vineyard, the Curtis Vineyard, is planted to about 50 acres of a great selection of Rhone varieties, including a variety that is particulary well suited to Rosé production – Cinsault.  It makes up many of the delicious, light, and dry Rosé bottlings that remind folks of sunny breezy days spent in the south of France (even if you have never been there). The grapes were all harvested at peak Rosé maturity (early, with a lower sugar and brighter acid), in the middle of the night, and then quickly foot stomped to help start the color extraction process.  The mashed grapes were then transferred to a cold room to macerate overnight.  At first light the next day, the grapes were gently pressed off skins and fermentation was encouraged to start asap, in 100% stainless steel.  The wine was aged in the same tank, on lees, choosing to only pump it once, as it was transferred to bottle.  The resulting wine is wonderfully light, yet complex, and full of personality.  Yes, there are plenty of fruity notes, but this is definitely not a kool-aid Rosé of yesteryear from California. Rather, it is very much in the moment. The Andrew Murray Esperance Rosé 2020 is crisp, light, dry and perfect for any meal! This will be your go to wine this summer! 750 cases made!
